This is a great tip! Nothing has motivated me to write like I have since joining medium, so I think that creating a visual system that showed me in making progress on my non-medium projects could really work.

You’re right, not getting any nods or claps or winks can make it hard to know your writing is worth continuing with, and that’s why I end up on medium more and more, but if I continue like this I’ll never get the joy of publishing a whole novel. Maybe that’s OK… I’m not sure, but plenty to think about here. Thanks for sharing!
