Thanks for your thoughtful response Harry. I hope it is a growth spurt. Life has been very lifey recently and so I definitely feel I’ve been tested but drinking doesn’t really occur to me as a solution anymore. I suppose because I am so very clear that it doesn’t work.

Five years sober! Well done. It sounds like such a long time when you are newly abstinent but it’s not very long at all really, when you drank for decades.
