I love this! I enjoyed the balanced view, and the total lack of a sales pitch re sobriety. Also the way you articulated the importance of keeping relationships clearcut and healthy, and of staying out of troubled people’s trouble without abandoning them entirely (unless you have to for everyone’s sanity) and the unique type of loneliness that comes from being with people who, for whatever reason, you struggle to express yourself authentically with.
